[top]Introduction

Unlike the location cases, the ablative and lative cases describe motion in specific ways.

[top]The Ablative Case

The ablative case describes motion away from something, off of something and out of something. It can also describe temporal situations like after or since, and causation such as because of or due to.

Other examples:
Vašenjosa wihp telui’kučoňuo adhu žiňave-dhu dekup; We decided not to go to the sea today because of the bad weather
Dhučuo gělěča’ranam amčočnjoran-dhu; I haven’t sung since my mother’s death

[top]The Lative Case

The lative case describes motion towards something, into something, to something, until something, against something, onto something, or temporally before something.
