There are a few different verbs that are used for this sentences. There are two sets that have a different position in the verb phrase. One of them codes evidentiality and the other the truth value and span of the predication. The first one usually has different forms for the verb if it is the main verb of the phrase or not.
The evidentiality verbs can be used in a phrase with other lexical verbs. in this case the short form is mostly used.
This form appears in noun predicates that are used to mark identity. It is sometimes used for other types of predicates in alternation with other verbs.
Amurkị gẹ.
He's Amurki.
This verb is used to mark parts of a whole, members of a collection and kinds of things. Si is the form that appears when it is not the main verb of the clause.
