Fosafa uses an Verb-Subject-Object sentence structure. However, you can rearrange the words, if you want. Moving one to the start of the sentence emphases it. The object (if any) requires a "-mo" suffix; indirect objects use "-fo" instead.

Nouns can be used as adjectives or adverbs meaning "like ___" or "related to ___" by adding it to the start to the noun it applies to. Adding "-ko-" to a noun or pronoun creates an adjective meaning "owned by ___".

Verbs can be used as nouns meaning “something that ___” by adding “bi-” to them.

Ask questions by adding "-do" to the verb. Ask who/what questions by using “sak” (mystery) as the unknown element and moving it to the front of the sentence. Ask yes-no questions by asking a question without “sak”.

Make requests by adding "-ri" to the verb.
Negate a verb by adding "ris-" to the start.
Add a prefix to mark tense. For past tense, use “pa-”; for the future, use “po-”.

There is no word for "is/are"; just say the noun with the adjective. If you need to modify the verb, use "ta"; "ta" doesn't mean anything, it just holds the affixes.
