(the monarch said to them below--"

("eat snow from the ground")
"heŧihe snīun"
eat-IMPImperative (mood)
command
snow-from-air

("eat snow from the air")
"heŧihe sneig"
I could have easily used frost and snow like the original, but I thought it would be kind of funny to use the language's two different words for snow instead, especially as frost tends to form on the ground so I thought, hmmmm. But really it's strange that a language spoken in the tropics has two words for snow at all!

monarch-POSSPossessive (case)

head-POSSGPossessed (case)

"to hang someone's head" means to make an example of them (from decapitation as an archaic form of punishment of course).

(they hung the monarch's head)
gremī la hrēŋasin qabutin

Cursed his name/Burned his stead

Hush-a-bye and don't be affright
quiet-IMPImperative (mood)
command
and NEGNegative (polarity)
not
-fear-IMPImperative (mood)
command

The "be quiet" could be gentled into more of a request by reduplicating it into "quehiqeqe" but it fits better with the more forceful (shorter) form.

(hush and don't fear)
quehiqe, a mābugibu

Mama will sing through all the night
mama sing-FTFuture tense (tense)
action occurring after the moment of speech
entire night

(mama will sing through night)
mama qehnufa osasra nōqs

Many an hour before morning sun
morning come-FTFuture tense (tense)
action occurring after the moment of speech
shine-FTFuture tense (tense)
action occurring after the moment of speech
splend-FTFuture tense (tense)
action occurring after the moment of speech

Normally conjugated verbs are not strung together like this but it is essentially using one word for all their subjects, rather than trying to combine the verbs themselves, so i think it works as a list lacking the a connector.

(morning will come, it will shine, it will splendor)
heos gemufa, tiufa, sfentufa

Don't dream of horror yet to come
horror-PLPlural (number)
more than one/few
die-FUTFuture (tense)
action occurring after the moment of speech

Horror here in the sense of some kind of monster or ghast which has not yet visited, which I thought would be fitting considering one of the abilities in-game allows you to transform into some kind of horrible abberation. Without the definite article this is more the sense of monsters in general will die when the sun comes up, as it will.

(horrors will die)
gersnemor laitufa.
