stem + (1) ablaut -e-, or (2) e- = E-stem
stem + -u = noun
E-stem + -e = transitive verb
E-stem + -i = stative verb
stem + -o = adverb
stem + ni (NEG) = person noun
stem + -u + rra (POS) = place noun
stem + -u + eo (NEG) = diminutive noun
E-stem + eo = diminutive transitive verb
stem + u + ur- = augmentative noun
E-stem + e + ur- = augmentative transitive verb
stem + -u + aia (NEG) = group noun
stem + u + naxu (POS) = tool

Example with 'xuh-' stem:
xeh- (used in further derivation)
xuhu - fire
xehe - burn
xehi - hot
xuhi - burningly
xuhuni (nixuhu) - cook
rraxuhu (xuhurra) - fireplace; cooking spit
xuheo (eoxuhu) - flame
xeheo - smoulder; slightly burn
urxuhu - blaze (noun)
urxehe - blaze (verb)
xuhaia (aiaxuhu) - wildfire
naxuxuhu - firewood

stem + u + jwa- = NSEN-to-SEN
stem + u + -lir = abstract noun
