Ajatsian verbs take a person marker indicated as a prefix. The different prefixes are as follows:

zhö (“I”) – no marker

n'aj' (“you” singular only) – e-

thes (“he/she/it”) – ar'-/ar- (following the voicing rules)

adezh (“we” inclusive and exclusive) – ka-/ga- (following the voicing rules)

kär' (“you” plural only) – pu-/bu- (following the voicing rules)

ziq (“they”) – l'o-/lo- (following the voicing rules)
