An account of how the Velenian Language supposedly came to be

[comments] The following is an account written my M.L. Augustus, found amongst his personal writings about the Velenian Language.

"The details surrounding the origins of the Velenian Language is strange. There seems to be no record of an ancestral language, first of all. This would lead one to think that there simply isn't one, however some Velenians have offhandedly referred to "Ancient Velenian" before, though any examples of it have not been heard or seen anywhere.

Other Velenians have said that the language was given to them by their deity, right after they were granted the gift of life. If this is supposedly true, then it would explain some of the unusual consistencies the language has, which appear unnatural. However, this explanation requires one to also believe in the Velenian Deity."
