Religion is such a large part of Yaıraan culture that there is a special class of nouns for certain religious topics.

The main (and nationally endorsed) Yaıraan religion venerates four goddesses. The regional varieties often elevate the status of lesser goddesses and spirits, however all of them note the importance of these four main goddesses.

The role of the religion is so much that the word for "clothing", "siviṣal" is considered to be in the sacred/religious class. In Yaıraan mythology, Arisii (the Goddess of Knowledge) taught the women of the village to weave and knit clothing. As such, clothing is a sacred gift from the goddesses onto the people, and the word reflects such ideals.
