Consonants

- Unaspirated unvoiced consonants become voiced; Aspirated unvoiced consonants loose distinction of aspiration

p t k tɕ > b d g ʐ
pʰ tʰ kʰ tɕʰ > p t k ʂ

- Infestation: syllabic nasals dissapear, but nasalize all vowels after them. If monosyllabic, they insert a nasalized e

tɕʰm̥ > ʂã
m̥tɕoːʔ > ãʐõ

-Tonogenesis: long vowels and short vowels no longer distinguished. Long vowels are replaced with a low tone. however, if a syllable ended with a glottal stop or velar coda (k or ŋ), they take on a high tone. If a long vowel ends in a high coda, they negate each other, producing a neutral tone.

vlaːm > flam˨
ʔdoːjik > ro˨ji˦
ʔbok > wo˦
broːʔ > bro

Glottalized Stops
Glottalized stops were lenitated

ʔb > w (ʔbok > wo˦)
ʔd > r (ʔdraːn > ran˨)
ʔg > x (ʔgaːʔ > xa)
ʔdʑ > l (ʔdʑaŋ > lan˦)

Vowel Changes

V: > V1
V:V > V1
