Yoriz is name of a language long forgotten in the old universe of Mordem. Or, more accurate, the name is a state of mind that most people tried to attain. Yoriz in the original written form is made up of old pictographs that represented the entire body, and the word Yoriz, means to attain a comfort with the mind and body. Or in Indian religious group, Nirvana. It is actually a language that most Gods spoke, however, primordials spoke the language of Nuktarm Kulunma, or in Yoriz, although the name is not very well known in Yoriz, is Nukterm Kolunma. When Nuktarm was a very well known language amongst the primordials, the children of the primordials, or what we call Gods, were unable to learn the language, so they made up their own, and after the primordials got into a big war with the Gods, the Gods won, and the primordials of Creation and Destruction both decided with the Gods to create and perfect the new language that was born with the Gods. Thus, Yoriz was born.

For a long time, before the Eras of Justice, no human knew how to speak it, but the new Gods of Justice decided that they deserved to speak amongst themselves and worship the Gods in a way the Gods knew. Thus the Eras of Justice were upon the people, all of Mordem spoke it, however, a darkness was descending upon the world, Dark Magic was becoming more popular as the language constantly talked about darkness and how enlightening it is. Eventually, a full Grimoire of Dark Magic was created, however, it was in the south, where the new language of Zukla had grown, and they perfected the art of speaking in the Dark Arts. And then, as people used Dark Magic, it turned them into Noraths, beasts of darkness. And they destroyed a good population. The Gods stopped this, specifically the new term for the other Gods who weren't the ones of Justice, the Great Gods, ended up destroying all records of Dark Magic, and stopped humans from being able to learn Yoriz, just like the primordials did to the Gods for Nukterm.

Only those with Dark Magic in the world could have the possibility of speaking it, only one human boy in the new Great Eras, when New Speech was created, was able to. Only a few Gods of Justice, now called Lost Gods, were able to speak Yoriz. Eventually, the boy liberated the universe of all Gods, Lost or Great, and became the Bikuv, the Final God, and destroyed the universe and created a new one with his body's ashes. He is the universe, and they say in the darkness that you can hear the ancient whispers of Yoriz.

Grammatically, the language is very freestyle, no real word order, but generally in third person the verb comes last, and in first person, when the verb is inflected with the first person value, it will become the first thing in the sentence. Yoriz is only inflected with one suffix, which can take the form of mood and person. If it is first person and the verb isn't inflected, the verb will usually remain at the middle of the sentence. Nouns come before adjectives, and all nouns are adjectives and all adjectives are nouns. You can say Small as in, "Small is a good person." and generally people will be able to understand, since generally people come up with adjectives and give them to people like names. There is 5 noun classes, and about 15 declensions. Generally, in common speech, you use the first class, and go up as the persons rank goes up. It's, Mortal, Magic-user, Buhtali, Buhtaliam, and God. However, most 1st class declensions are very simple, and the higher you go, the more complex you get. And adjectives agree with nouns in class and case.
