[top]Comparatives and Superlatives

Comparatives are formed by the following construction:

subject + upi + adjective(verb) + sa noun

Where the subject and the noun take absolutive case.

M'ahi uzu upi lehan keo sa n'ipi The man used to be more red than the apple
Hiim upi si yowaaki sa apu He is more honorable than me

However, if you wanted to say "better" you would have to use the verb luoku:

Hiim luoku sa apu He is better than me
Msa eha n penca mki luokunuu hecu'em hiim n csilo sa apu This is the person who understands life better than I do
