Here are the first ten numerals in avornian:
Value | Avornian | IPA |
---|---|---|
0 | na | na |
1 | ho | hɔ |
2 | ni | ni |
3 | zu | zu |
4 | ako | akɔ |
5 | go | gɔ |
6 | ji | ʐi |
7 | arak | arak |
8 | yu | ju |
9 | ku | ku |
10 | zan | zan |
Numbers higher than 10 are composed by concatenation of powers of 10 multiplied by the basic numerals. For example 25 will be decomposed in 2x10+5: nizango (nizangɔ). When the multiplier is 1, it isn't required to use it, so for 10 we will write it zan, and not hozan. Powers of 10 are always writen in decreasing order (the highest power to the left, the lowest to the right), for example 1998 will be decomposed in 1000+9x100+9x10+8 and will be writen bankusenkuzanyu (bankusɛnkuzanju).
Value | Avornian | IPA |
---|---|---|
10 | zan | zan |
100 | sen | sɛn |
1000 | ban | ban |
