Marie Kang (born July 24th, 1974) is a Mikyoan politician who has been serving as the first senator from the Outermost Islands since January 29th, 2009. Before being elected to the Outermost Islands Senate in 2000, Marie Kang was a political activist and a Council Member of the Mikyoan Feminist League. Marie Kang has a master's degree in Gender Studies and attended the University of the Outermost Islands on Daiching between 1992-1998.

Between 2001 and 2007, Marie Kang served the Outermost Islands Senate, and in 2008, Marie Kang was elected to the Mikyoan National Senate. As of 2014, Marie Kang serves as the Majority Leader of the Mikyoan National Senate, as the successor to Ivan Nguo after he was elected president in 2013.

In 2018, Marie Kang entered the Progressive Party's Primary for the Presidential Nomination. Marie Kang's popularity surged during the months leading up to the primary due to a grassroots campaign and strategic targeting of low propensity voting groups (such as Pacific Islander Mikyoans, Far-Left Progressives, and long-term foreign-born Mikyoans with suffrage) in primaries and increasing turnout within the groups.
