Okay, so there are two styles of writing Chirp, in romanized form.
First, is "raw" form, where accents are written as other characters, like "Kiye+2" or "Ki01ye+2"
In this method, each vowel is followed by 0,+,- (optionally, 0 can be omitted) to represent mid, high, and low tone respectively. Then, comes a number from 1-6 (1 can be omitted), representing various contours, in order they are: Flat, raising, falling, fall then raise, raise then fall, and wavering/unstable.

The second, is "cooked" form, where the accents are stacked on the vowels, like "Kiyḗ"
Note, that the tone accent comes before (or underneath, hopefully) the contour accent.
In the same order as before (tone, then contour) they are (applied to an e): e ē ë e é è ĕ ê ẽ

Finally, to help with converting between them, I have a python code for doing just that. Note that the "below" option would put the tone accent below the vowel, which might be useful if accents end up merged. Otherwise, leave it as False
