Numerals in Kavrinian

In Kavrinian, numerals below 256 follows a base-4 pattern, with 8, 12 and 16 formed with a specific suffix -vïnki, which indicates "times 4". Below are numerals from 1-16 and the numeral bases 64 and 256:

- 1 - tö
- 2 - laa
- 3 - tïtsi
- 4 - tïnki
- 5 - tïnkitö(4+1)
- 6 - tïnkilaa(4+2)
- 7 - tïnkitïtsi(4+3)

the numeral bases 64 and 256 and above are always preceded by a numeral, even when the preceding numeral is 1, and the parts larger than 64 and the parts smaller than 64 are connected with lïč "and":

- 261 - tö totsol lïč tïnkitö(1x256+5)

Again, these numeral bases are always preceded by a numeral, even when the preceding numeral is 1; also, numeral units above tulhe "4,294,967,296" are rarely used nowadays, and in practice, tulhe is the largest numeral unit used, and numbers larger than tulhe are often expressed in terms of scientific expressions.

Scientific Expression

The Scientific expression in Kavrinian is expressed in terms of based-16 numerals, that is, they write numbers as p x 16^q, with p being a real number between 0 and 16, and q being an integer indicating the order of magnitude.
