Verbs are an important part of a language! However, sometimes they can be complicated and hard to get your head around. Luckily, I plan on helping you get used to the basic aspects of Oblastian!

The Perfect | Indicates an event completed in the past has an effect on the relevant tense.
This one is simple as it functions similarly to the perfect in English.

wins Winkėl Haxta heçt | I've eaten my mother's food (note the ablaut)
wòns Bròft droks, kėl straxémte | I had been to his house, before he died

The Continuous | Indicates an event started in the past has continued into the relevant tense
Identical to English's continuous.

hoçis kėl kan śalt | I was eating before I saw you

The Perfective | Indicates an event has been completed, contrasting with the simple constructions, which can only imply completeness.
Can be translated by inserting "finish" + the gerund of the verb (Applies to English).

hoçt | I ate
hoçke | I finished eating

The Imperfective | Indicates that an event wasn't completed; has no impact on the relevant tense.
This one is a very hard aspect to translate due to how specific it is, so a lesson dedicated to it will be made to help illustrate how it works.

hoçt | I ate
hoçsec | I ate (however there's still food left; I was interrupted; I didn't finish ect)
