Here we take a very quick look at history of Iorðland, Alba, the Commonwealth and the Jordic languages (and a little Extra).
[edit] [top]The Beginning

It all starts with the Roman Empire - well, them leaving the British Isles for the Germanics to take it - in this fictive history scenario, along with the Angles, Saxons and Jutes from the south-east, from the north-east came the Jords (and some others, but they got assimilated with the Jords). After about two extremely short wars with the Celts, they decided on a truce and allied after the Jords and the Celts got attacked by the Vikings (Even though Jords are of a Nordic origin, they weren't with the Vikings).
[edit] [top]The English

After the Vikings, the English were starting to show more and more threat to the northern countries as an influx of English speaking people started rushing in after the Normans decided to team up with the southern Celts and started taking over the whole of England. Instead of not letting them in, they let nearly all of the English up to their borders and held the Celts and Normans away. This influx of English speaking people and the influence of Iorðland has caused Scotland to completely lose its Gaelic language from use as a regular language and a new language, Albisc, was eventually formed from the Jordic Norse and Old Irish, with large influence from Old English, almost like with Jordic, where Old English and Old Jordic (which came from Jordic Norse) fused into what is now Modern Jordic. That gave them the almost brother like similarities, even if they both came from a bit different roots.
[edit] [top]The South

There were many wars with the Southern Alliance and the Southern Alliance, due to its nature and internal relationships, got mixed, Normans with the Celts and eventually formed the country of Brithonia (Yes, considering Jordic is a collaboration with fantomatrol15, we have decided to fuse the histories together, the Brithonig part of this history will be made soon along with a proper history... deal with it). The Brithon-Norman alliance did not last, separating into Brithonia and (codenamed) Norman-England, Brithonia occupying much of the west of Britain and Norman-England the east and midlands. In Norman-England a romance language developed from Old French with a lot of influence from Old English.
They have shown to be a real threat to Iorðland and Alba and being the great allies that they are, they joined forces and formed a form of temporary commonwealth to lessen the threat of the Brithons and N-E’s, hopefully to a full annexation... Sadly that didn't happen, but they did eventually lessen the threat to a point of stopping the wars, and slowly they got to respect each other, and ally.
