?FYI...
This article is a work in progress! Check back later in case any changes have occurred.

Graspagra started as an alphabet, a way to write English in shorthand taking as few strokes as possible, and even including a few symbols that were condensed from the letters that they incorporate.
After a while, I had no intentions of creating a language de novo; but then it began when I finally realized my love for linguistics.

I wanted to take some of the more exotic features of familiar languages and highlight them, such as the large noun casing system in Russian and Polish. I wanted to take some of the unique vocabulary from Basque. I wanted to include some extensive verb tenses from various Romantic languages.

Thusly, Graspagra was born. A word which in itself means language, or "that which is spoken". An alphabet exists to more easily write the language; but due to its complex vowel nature (adjuncts like Hindi), it is too hard for me at this time to create a font to display it.

Step by step. Onkasma post-onkasmor.
