The Shemtiran Empire sits in the centre of the Vyran coastline. Renowned for its warriors, trade system with Oxa, glassblowing, and painting, it has blossomed under its current Grand Empress, Athaliah.
Shemtir is a proud nation, and other nations stereotype its people as vain, bloodthirsty, spear-wielding, and buff. They're not that far off. The national animal is the boar, the national colours green and gold, and the national food is lobster curry. The spices, brought over from the continent of Oxa, are grown near the south of Shemtir, where the soil is richer.
Shemtir's glory days were in the Age of Zariza II, who conquered most of Vyrus in her prime before being poisoned by an undercover Cendaean mage. The first country to fall under her rule (and the only one to remain under Shemtiran control) was Actana, which gave her command over a very powerful army of mages. ✎ Edit Article ✖ Delete Article
