As mentioned before, the Tacau Aluqah language was recorded in several different writing systems. This article will give a quick guide to all of these writing systems.

Tacau Njaxa was a logographic writing system, and was used for a long time, with the earliest glyphs dating to the 2nd century B.C. Near the end of Tacau Aluqah's lifespan, this writing system was replaced with the Latin alphabet.

The Latin alphabet was one of the most common ways to write in this language, especially during the later years of the language's existence. By the 16th century, it seemed to have replaced Tacau Njaxa completely.

Some Elder Futhark inscriptions appear to have recorded a dialect of Tacau Aluqah, which has been dubbed as "Lunn Aluqah", and may have been spoken in Scandinavia. These inscriptions date back to the early days of the language, around the 3rd or 4th centuries. There were very few examples of this dialect, and only a few inscriptions and examples have survived. Most only contain a couple of words.

There are only about 25 Ogham inscriptions that record "Luxa Aluqah", another dialect of Tacau Aluqah, believed to have been spoken in Ireland. Due to the short length of the inscriptions and the few inscriptions that survive, it is very difficult to figure out what this dialect was truly like. By the 8th century, this system seems to have been ditched, in favor of the Latin alphabet and the Tacau Njaxa glyphs.

Cyrillic and Gothic inscriptions do exist, but there are only a few that survive, so it is difficult to figure out if these also recorded separate dialects.
