[comments]  Tiian is written with a syllabary. Below are all the basic symbols used.

The symbols of the second row, which are just smaller versions of the top row (vowels without consonants), are used in long vowels and dipthongs. To represent naa (na:), you would use the symbol for na, followed by a small a, ; ナァ. If a full-size a were used, thus representing is as ナア, then they are fully distinct syllables, pronounced 'na.a.
