In the simplest form 'Pe' is used during informal conversations, and 'Nyo' is used for speaking in formal conversations.
However 'Nyo' is also used as if to say 'also', for Example 'Sa nepashi, nyo sa yale yuneshwo' (I am eating, and I am also liking the food) I would use 'Nyo' there instead of 'Pe' Because I used a pronoun after the 'and'. The same sentence using 'Pe' would look like this 'Sa nepashi, pe yale yuneshwo' (I am eating, and liking the food). A basic rule to follow is If you are using a pronoun after 'and' then use 'Nyo'.
