There is plenty of evidence that the Tacau people and the Kerel people were allies with each other. This article will show the different ways these two groups helped each other.

Combat
In the event of one or both groups being involved in a war, they will group up together, as seen in several poems and journals. While the Tacau people would usually try to stay out of major conflicts, the Kerel people would be more violent toward these, causing the Tacau people to get involved too. One notable example were the Roman-Persian wars, where the Kerel and Tacau teamed up to fight against the Persians.

Villages
Several villages and towns existed that were filled with both Kerel and Tacau people alike. Some villages were filled with people who knew both Kerel and Tacau Aluqah, while others show evidence of a pidgin language being formed from the two languages.
