Kakaluʒi
Kakaluʒi (pronounced kakaluʒi) (abbreviated as QZH) is a conlang I started on Jan 4, 2024. It was registered into ConWorkShop on January 2, 2025, almost a year after it started.

When I started working on it, I made it in a Google Sheet because it was the easiest thing to work with. I had considered in the past making a conscript for Kakaluʒi, but realized I would have to add like 30 different images to a google sheet and make sure they all worked properly, which I didn't want to do. I also didn't exactly have the creative motivation to make a conscript. I ended up on the current design because a guy called MetrikEnzyme came up with something, and I decided I wanted to use that. So, I made the smoothened version a while later (I didn't find out until about November 2024) and realized that you can add conscripts here that work exactly as you intend them to: just upload a .ttf and you're good to go.

Kakaluʒi is definetely the conlang I've worked the most on and thought the most about. It takes inspiration from a lot of places, and I mean a lot. As some examples, the word цa (the - nominative) is taken directly from Ukranian, and the word tradusir (to translate) is taken from Spanish with a minor spelling change to keep the pronounciation the same - but don't worry, it still works like any other verb.

Lore-wise, the Kakaluʒi people live on an island located at about -15°,-15° geographically. I have no idea what their culture would be, but I imagine either a tight-knit community of people that live away from each other among the treetops; or regular American people, but less overweight. I'm not sure which one I want yet.

That's all I have for now. If I end up deciding what I want the culture to be, have some follow-up, or want to talk about something I didn't mention here, I'll write another article. In the meantime, thanks for reading.
