[comments] nmyalessonslesson 2 In this lesson I will cover the two ways that New Maiya can be written: the Latin alphabet, and the native NMYA script. In both versions, each phoneme is represented by a single grapheme / letter. We're already familiar with the Latin alphabet so I'll start by explaining the NMYA script.
Each grapheme of the script is roughly the same size. Vowels that are lengthened are indicated with an accent just like in the Latin alphabet. The NMYA script also delineates voiced from voiceless pairs of consonants (e.g. voiceless s and voiced z; voiceless f and voiced v). The voiced consonants counterparts (b,d,g,v,z) are indicated by accent marks. Letters are assembled together from left to right just like Latin alphabet.
Other symbols (e.g. !",?-'.) are used in the NMYA script.

t --> d
f --> v
r --> ŕ
