Workerspeak is the dialect of the Camthirian lower class, particularly those working off-planet. It is a source for slang and can innovate before Standard Camthirian follows. Workerspeak tends not to be written down, and the military class and schoolteachers tend to think it vulgar.
Features:
Rounded vowels became low tone while unrounded vowels became high tone
Palatalised clicks became breathy voiced
Palatals became palatalised alveolars and post alveolars
Uvulars became velar and pharyngeal clusters
Some clusters simplified
More and more relatable idiomatic expressions
More loanwords
No double-case marking with genitives
Word order put the focus, then the verb, then everything else.
No focus marking on verbs other than trigger
