Dual Number in Bodin

When to use it, and when not to
This public article was written by pachelbel, and last updated on 10 May 2019, 04:47.

[comments] The dual number isn't applied to just any two things in Bodin, it specifically applies to things that form a pair/set of two. Two eyes belonging to different people do not take the dual, but one's pair of eyes does.

A non-exhaustive list of things that can take dual number:
-Paired body parts (eyes, ears, hands, wings, etc.)
-Paired clothing items/clothing items for paired body parts (shoes, trousers, eyeglasses, etc.)
-Some sets of people: twins, romantic couples, one's parents
-Anything being considered specifically as a matched pair or couple rather than as two individual items
