A sentence may consist of a verb. The verb may be preceded by a subject and followed by an object.

tupi. Eating happens.
pa tupi. I eat.
tupi lapanu. Bread is eaten.
pa tupi lapanu. I eat bread.
A sentence may consist of a noun followed by a modifier.
lapanu pali. Bread is good.
A sentence may consist of a noun followed by a preposition optionally followed by another noun.
pa lu sula. I am in a building.
