Predicative possession is for phrases expressing the relationship between some possessor and some possessee. In English, these are generally expressed with the verb 'have'. In  heŚakþe, there are two ways to express predicative possession, which are used differently, albeit with some overlap. These two possessive constructs are 'moja' and 'moja ko'.
The first, the 'moja' construction, operates with the verb 'moja', which is identical in all forms to the copula 'moja' but is considered a separate verb by linguists. The 'moja' possessive implies some kind of permanent possession. In it, the possessor is put in the ergative case and generally comes before the verb; the possessee is in the absolutive case, and generally comes after the verb. The verb agrees with the possessor.
The second, the 'moja ko' construction, uses the true copula with the preposition 'ko'. It implies impermanent possession of some variety. In it, the possessee is put in the absolutive case coming before the verb, and the possessor is put in the ergative case following the preposition 'ko'. The verb agrees with the possessee.
