Bases : the hoala: view article

It was impossible to show the full meanings of all the bases via the dictionary here at CWS, so this article should hopefully help in it. It's a work in progress.

What's a hoala?

It basically means source / beginning / end.
Break down: ho - source / basis, a - energy / force, al - beginning, la - end
In Hanian it's our list of bases and what they mean.
Many words in Hanian have specific meanings, derived from base segments.
This is not an alphabet; it's the closest we have to one.
We write in glyph segments, they are often longer than hoala segments.
Glyph segment break ups are shown in another file, the tjala.
In mimic these are written by Latin letters, separated by ; symbols.
The hoala is only used to help you to deduce meanings.
It must be memorized by all who wish to learn the language.
In addition it’s a base requirement to know how to work with the words.

For ease they will be presented a-z.

a - energy / force (concept)
ab - subject, serfdom, slavery; classification “slave”
ach - dry, dry - run, practice, simulated
ad - moment / temporary (not eternity), now; used to say "now"
ai - different grade, not related, not equal
ahn - side, left, direction, length, horizontal, horizon, west
ak - take, subdued, surrendered, negative
al - from, beginning, start, foundation; used to say "from"
am - danger, vulnerability
an - citizenship; classification “citizen”
ap - solution, answer, outcome
ar - resource, stuff ; classification “resource manager”
ash - perfection, absolute, certain
at - biological, body, natural; used to say "of"
av - stillness, non-movement (stopping), stagnation, silence
ay - servitude, service; classification “servant” (aye)
az - the lights, holiness, righteousness
au - time, frequency, vibration, ripples; used to say "at" (time)

ba - military, discipline, firepower, protection; classification "mil. officer"
bau - immediate, shocking, overpowering
be - transfer from file
bi - feeling / skin; classification "artist"
bl - expression
bo - sweet, grow, farm; classification “grower”
br - bend, ease, light
bu - peace, calm, smooth, heaven, paradise, utopia; classification "diplomat"

ch - awareness, focus, paying attention
cha - wet fluid, water, liquid, extinguish, drown
chau - dry fluid, fluid metal, fluid fire, magma, lava, flow, envelop
che - air, wind, gas, bacteria / virus, infect, spread, blow, poison (air)
cheu - element, atom, fission, fusion, decay, pattern manipulation, beam
chi - vapor, smoke, steam, mist, fog
chj - space, void, ether, dark matter, suffocate / asphyxiate
cho - dry solid, ground, stone, earth, dirt, soil, bury
chö - wet solid, mud, ice, snow, slide / avalanche
chu - fire, flammable, ignite, burn / incinerate / explode
chü - plasma, lightning, laser, disintegrate / vaporize

da - eternity, forever, a really long time, always; used to say "ever"
de - transfer from file
dj - structure, building, home, house, architecture
di - natural, automatic
dm - all around, surrounded, girded, bound
do - person, relating to people
dr - gravity, pull down, falling, sinking, lowering, shedding
du - aside, removed, isolated, removed from reality

e - is, are, being
ed - input (nourishment), digest, consume
ehn - altitude, vertical, height, north, top
eg - out, exclusive, external, without, out of, pushed out of; used to say "out"
ek - either / or, choice, deciding; used to say "or else"
el - through, immortality; used to say "is"
em - ask, request, beg, plead
en - away, far, foreign
er - no, negative, opposite; used to say "no"
et - as, like, local, not quite the same, slightly different; used to say "as"
ev - closed, specific, dishonest, manipulative
ez - second, twice, two of something, pair

j (Eye) - around, surround, all over, covered in / by
jhn - center, middle

ga - energy, fiery, fire, plasma, passionate, energetic, magnetic
gau - curse, (based on fire, energy), hate, spitefulness, mean, evil
.gd - sudden (end of word)
ge - in, inside, into, within, inclusive, internal, contained in; used to say "in"
gi - food, nourishment, meal
gj - country, nation, faction, territory, region
gl - meaning, underlying, excessive or slight / subtle
gn - with form, thing which gives form, medium (of communication)
go - cause, process, problem
gr- active, movement
gu - benefit

Ha - Light (concept), one, first; classification "light"
he - sustain, eat
hi - birth, spawn; classification “nurturer”
hj - may change!
ho - creation, source
hu - creation, think, mind; classification "thinker"

i - experience, awareness of living, life / existence
ii - intense experience / life or existence
ib - numb, not feel, content in situation
id - artificial, supplement, seeking improvement , unnatural, manufactured
ig - lack, hunger, scarcity, deprivation, weakness
ihn - direction, orientation, measurement, coordinates, map reading
ik - sickness, illness, weakness
il - ugly, rough, hardship
im - pain, suffering, misery
in - old, esteemed
ip - open, not set
ir - hate, fear, loathing
ish - personal reality , personal life
it - dull, plain, not shiny, not special, average
ith - tan , just a little, ripple, tiny wave
iv - large, massive, big
iz - chaos, disorganized, messy

ka - conquest, main / primary, seizing / taking / getting taken with force; used to say "get"
ke - combine, and, bind to, added without force, gained (no effort), gifted; used to say "and"
kj - community, settlement, neighborhood, one’s street (pronounced - keye)
ki - health, strength, vitality
kl - enable, cause, help, support
km - boasting, praise, heroic and good deeds, heroism
kn - official, authentic
ko - add, combine, little force / small effort, gain, build, bought
kr - release, giving up, surrender, pushing, pulling, let go
ku - rising, growth, up, more than, winning; used to say "up"
kv - art, expression, creativity, mind, (pronounced as a hard Q)

la - end, finish
le - is, mortality
li - beauty, pretty, nice to the eyes / senses, harmony; used to say "pretty" "awesome"
lj - universe, dimension
.lk - disable, prevent, push aside (end of word)
lo - history, past, that which was; used to say "did"
lu - nothing, none, night, void, dark; used to say "nothing"

ma - safety
me - order, command, demand, expect
mj - sphere, round, circle, turn, bend, curve
mi - pleasure, joy, happiness
.mk - shameful, evil deeds, cowardly, condemnation, not worthy
mo - artificially manipulating, interference
mu - speech / utterance

This is about 90% percent finished. It's the first half of the hoala, the second half will be added here in about a week or so....
