noun endings lost except when long, in which case they shorten; genitive singular was always long, meaning it was the same as nominative singular in some words; technically its still the same;
stress was second to last? but moves to final in words that still retain final vowel

' silent at end of words (maybe stop writing it entirely) but retained medially (hence oshru, oshru'in); h also lost finally, would maybe become ' before endings?
actually keep final h and maybe ' written, even though they're not pronounced
