These are all patterns I could spot going through the dictionary of Proto-Argeyazic, some of which I've been doing deliberately and some of which seem to have just happened on their own. This doesn't necessarily need to be like a fixed thing if anyone else makes words at some point, like it could just be recommendations or something.
General Rules:
Basic syllable structure: (C)(W)V(W)(C)(C if final)
- No vowel hiatus; at morpheme boundaries, insert a glottal stop
- No more than two consonants per cluster (excluding glides)
- No /r/ after stops
Word-Initial Position:
- No clusters (except with glides)
- No schwa
World-Final Position:
- No glides
- Allowable clusters:
- L{P,F,S,N]
- N{P,S}
- PS
- F{P,r}
