Basic word order: VSO
Syntax rules:
Prepositional pronouns go to the end of the clause
Adverbs go to the end of the clause, after prepositional pronouns if they are present
 Verbs always come first
Noun adjective and noun numeral at all times
If the subject is not mentioned but an adjective describes it, the adjective goes directly after the verb
Copula is always: Copula, subject, pronoun(usually prepositional). If referring to multiple subjects, they are listed and the 1, 2 or 3P pronouns are used.
Equative and comparative (gú and cein respectively) are placed after the first noun and all adjectives associated with it, the second noun then comes directly after gú or cein
Conjunctions do not affect word order, nor do clauses separated by a comma
Issuing commands (using the b' prefix) on a noun makes the verb for the command not conjugate and come after the noun. If b' is added to the verb, it is not conjugated if it is imperative but the subject comes after and word order is normal again
Determiners come after nouns and are treated as adjectives
If there is only the subject and a prepositional pronoun is present, the verb does not need to be conjugated and usually isn't, the subject may also be dropped if context allows as the prepositional pronoun fulfils the same purpose but only if the prepositional pronoun refers to the subject
When saying or describing something you ate, the construction is meólam ú máshc ___="I ate a ____ meal" in which ___ is what you ate. "máshc" means both dinner and general meal but can be replaced if referring to a different meal.
