3. Vowel Shifts
?
?
There is no distinction of vowel length, so doubling up identical vowels does nothing.
For the /ɑ/ and /ʌ/ vowels, their short forms "Áá" and "Óó" are not used when in initial positions.
Instead, they are spellt with the digraphs "Ah" and "Oh" respectively. This can be seen in the name of the language, Ahtohállan.
General Rules:
-Syllables are C(C)(C)V(C)(C)C
-Pronouns/Nouns always follow the syllable structure by ending with a consonant (disregarding inflection)
-Onset Consonants: All consonants except for: Ðð / DZdz / [LLll] And WHwh / VHvh are only used in the onset
-Coda Consonants: All consonants except for: WHwh / VHvh / NJnj / KJkj
