Overall, verb forms can be divided into 3 classes:
• The infinitive
• The perfective
• Participles

The citation form of the verb is the infinitive.
The infinitive particle is circum-particle im ta: im nas ta "to kill", im po'en ta "to work".
The verb root is formed by removing the particles.

There is no tense in Amakane, there is simply a perfective marker, i:

In ki i tem.

speaker, signer, etc.; I

do
I did it.

There is no distinction between present and future:

In ki tem.

However, temporal terms such as "tomorrow" can be added to imply future:

In ki tem kian.

Nouns are not inflected in Amakane. There is no case. Number is indicated through the definite article:
