(I recommend learning the alphabet first, as it won't be covered)

One of the most important word in a language is 'hello'. Even if you don't speak a language, if you're able to at least say 'hello' in their language i'm sure they'd be flattered. Kevaśelt culture is no exception to this. But there are different greetings, such as 'hi' and 'hey'. In Kevaśelt, the meaning of 'hello', 'hey' and 'hi' are more distinct than in English. You also don't have to return a greeting, it isn't considered impolite.

Ahoj -- /əʜɔj/ -- 'Hello'. This is a general and formal greeting, only used when it's the first time during the day that you're talking to somebody.

Hay -- /ʜəɪ/ -- 'Hi'. This is a greeting used if you've already spoken with the listener in that day.

He -- /ʜɛ/ -- 'Hey'. This is used when you wish to add something to a previous conversation or to greet a personal conversation

And this isn't a greeting, but it's equally as important - Caƹac -- /çætɬəç/

Here's a typical conversation in Kevaśelt. Don't worry about anything except the greetings, I'll give a translation, but we'll also move onto it later.

C : Ahoj Zak! Telik Mazyn ecđá bodskap nju nju.
Z : Okey. Ec teligg.

C : Hay Zak, hé-skav to Mazyn?
Z : Gat, ec maf hé-skav.
C : He, ü ec maf ytok go śu dína nju nju. Caƹac!

C : Hello Zak! Give Mazin my message please.
Z : Ok. I will.

C : Hi Zak, have you seen Mazin?
Z : No, I have not seen (him)
C : Hey, and I don't want it to be awkward please. Thanks!

That's all for today!

Meh, as if anybody will actually read this though. I might make another next week, or tomorrow if I get bored.
