Hello! and welcome to Lesson 1!
Aruj! ga Feṡtur ṡa Cransely! / Aruj! ga Feṡtur ṡa Cransely!

While learning Angerian, you will need to know some basic character in the romanization system. The Romanization system will be used along side the Script itself but will slowly disappear as you progress further. Let's get started!

Ṡṡ
The same sound as english 'sh' as in "Shop" [ʃ].

Đđ
The same sound as english 'th' in thing but not as 'th' in that [θ].

Żż
Like sh but voiced, similar to english vision [ʒ].

Ǎǎ
Like the a in father in RP [ɑ].

Ǐǐ
Like the i in kit in RP [ɪ].

Ǒǒ
Like french 'sœur' or English British "birds" [œ].

Ħħ
Like welsh 'll' in 'Lloegr' [ɬ].

Ṙṙ
Similar to welsh 'rh' in 'rhy'. It's like an r but alot more breathy and trilled [r̥].

Yy
Unlike in english, y is used to represent the schwa, the letter a in the word Comma or about [ə].

Jj
This is the letter used to represent the letter y as in 'yet' [j]

Vu
the V stands for a Vowel. When u follows a vowel, it's pronounced closer to the w sound [w].

Vi/iV
the V stands for a Vowel. When i follows/precedes a vowel, an unwritten j gets added inbetween. ciu is pronounced key-you. [VjV]

Now to get to pronouns. Unlike in english, pronouns do not change for case except for the genitive and reflexive. They do however have optional gender suffixes, which are mostly used with the 3rd person pronouns but can be used with the other pronouns also.

Now, The word for I is:
Au/au | Au/au (Note. As some letters in the Angerian script look completely different in their uppercase forms, most/all words in the beginner lessons will have one with a capital and one without.)

You is:
Ṙy/ṙy | Ṙy/ṙy

He/She/It is:
Le/le | Le/le

Those are the only pronouns that you will need as of right now. The copula[linking verb] is very simple in comparison, only having one form with possible prefixes that will be covered in a future lesson. The Copula is : Or/or | Or/or.

The basic word order in Angerian is SVO. This is identical to English! so to say: "I am Dylan." you would say(Make sure to account punctuation):

That is a basic way to say "I am", but what If i want to say "My name is"?
Well, 'name' in Angerian mostly works as a verb, compared to english and this requires the indirect object which will be explained in a future lesson. For now, all you need to know is how to say "My name is...".
To say "My name is", you say:
____ au stilṡ ħe.
____ being the name.

So to say, "Hello, my name is Dylan." It would be: Aruj- Dylan au stilṡ ħe. | Aruj, Dylan au stilṡ ħe.

Before we finish of this lesson, we will go over the Angerian script just slightly. Here are all the letters in alphabetical order.
