In Kalath, there are six months: Insỹt, Midkel, Ävmik, Basvym, Nerjƭ, and Jetfah. Each month lasts 60 days, except Jetfah, which lasts 65. Thus, the months are broken into 12 weeks of 5 days each.

Dates are generally denoted Year:Month-Day, although any divisor will do. (i.e. Year/Month/Day).
Shorthand, the dates are written Month-Day, like so: Midkel-25, or Mid-25.

Kalathan New Year starts on Insỹt-1, which corresponding to the Gregorian calendar is June 21.

The durations of the months in Gregorian dates is:

Insỹt = June 21 - August 19

Midkel = August 20 - October 18

Ävmik = October 19 - December 17

Basvym = December 18 - February 15

Nerjƭ = February 16 - April 17
