Two distinct linguistic processes can be observed in some of Senthra's compound words: reduplication (repeating a word, usually to intensify its meaning) and "averaging" (compounding two words that mean extremes that takes on a meaning between the two).

Reduplication:
  • khre (bad) -> khre-khre (terrible)
  • sios (tree) -> sios-sios (forest)
  • thri (warm) ->thri-thri (hot)
  • thrar (much) ->thrar-thrar (a lot, very much)
  • yil (earlier) ->yil-yil (long ago)
  • sey (old) -> sey-sey (ancient)
  • ra (big) -> ra-ra (huge)
  • lor (small) -> lor-lor (tiny)
  • khryokh (hit) -> khryokh-khryokh (beat)

Averaging:
  • sin (domesticated animal) + syn (predator) -> sin-syn (animal)
  • miokh-yion (right hand) + miokh-lu-yion (left hand) -> miokh-miokh-lu-yion (hand)
  • thri (warm) + khra (cold) -> thri-khra (temperature)
  • thryo (good [n.]) + khro (bad [n.]) -> thryo-khro (quality)
  • theth (go) + nu-theth (come) -> theth-nu-theth (move)
  • ras (mountain) + ras (mountain) -> ras-ras (valley)
  • nuth (side) + nuth (side) -> nuth-nuth (between)
  • thre-nan-khes (tasty) + khre-nan-khes (untasty) -> thre-khre-nan (taste [flavour])
  • theth (go) + neth (stay) -> theth-neth (stop)
  • thray (happiness) + khroy (sadness) -> thray-khroy (emotion)
  • thryoy (be happy) + khray (be sad) -> thryoy-khray (feel)
  • lar (few) + thrar (much) -> lar-thrar-sum/lar-thrar-xiokh (increase)
  • thrar (much) + lar (few) -> thrar-lar-sum/thrar-lar-xiokh (decrease)
  • thion-lu (don't choose) + thion (choose) -> thion-lu-thion (free)
  • than-lu (no choice) + than (choice) -> than-lu-than (freedom)
  • khryokh (beginning) + lan (end) -> khryokh-lan (distance)
  • xys (ground) + som (sky) -> xys-som-xiokh/-sum (raise/rise)
  • som (sky) + xys (ground) -> som-xys-xiokh/-sum (lower/descend)
