In Aʻoonirobi, nouns are pluralized via a special type of affix called a clitic. This clitic is -⟨(ň)Ṽ2ᴀṙ⟩ where Ṽ2ᴀ is either /ɛ̃/ if the word has final close vowel or /ĩ/ when the word has a final open-mid vowel. This clitic attaches to the word immediately preceding the noun to be pluralized.

There are some exceptions when numerals are involved. When the number is specified the clitic is attached to the word preceding the numeral (in this case ḅĩĩṙ) and the relevant classifier is attached to the noun (in this case -aji).
