About Adzamasi
The main and official language of
Tabiqa, Standard Adzamasi is a direct-inverse hierarchical language (syntax inspired by Athabaskan languages) with a vaguely Turkic phonology. Its primary deixis is spatial, not temporal (tense) and it has a complex animacy hierarchy.
Adzamasi is the most conservative surviving daughter of
Old Adzamian (which was previously assigned to this code (ADZ)), and is the standardized language form. It is sometimes considered a fossilized and/or classical language. Most of its speakers are second-language speakers and prefer a more modern dialect/language in their day-to-day lives.
