About Safirenne
Safirenne (/'safɪri:n/, Native name: Saufirae /sʌɸiɾɛ/) is a Kitrian isolate spoken somewhere in the island of Adimoth, on the archipelagic kingdom of Trigita. Its usage has been largely supplanted and eroded primarily by Mellan. The English name, Safirenne, is the anglicized form of its native name, Saufirae, from the words Sau "speech" and Firae "people", meaning "the speech of the people".
The language is a VSO Nom-Acc language with 8 primary prepositional cases, aesthetically inspired by Dovahzul (with a bit of Thai). It is a Kitrian language, but not related to the rest of its languages, given its distinct grammar. One notable cognate is the word Auni "one", which cognates with Lithian Hana, Teknite Hén, and Mellan Qena.
