Hello! Welcome to the Aghidi language page!
Now written with the beautiful and pointy Mayessa script <3
I'm still fixing IPA ;p
Usual word order is SVO
5 Classes used for verbs. It's so logical it's not even worth putting it in the dictionary. Verbs are conjugated to class of the subject.
- Feminine, the subject is a human female
- Masculine, the subject is a human male
- Animate, the subject is an animal or plant excluding humans
- Inanimate, the subject is not alive in any way.
- Mixed/Abstract/Untouchable, the subject is a mix of people/things in different classes or non-physical like time or an emotion, and plurals. If it was a group of all the same it would use the shared class of the subjects' conjugation.
Ergative case OwO What's this
Adjectives are before nouns
Adverbs either after verb or at end of sentence. This is even more complex when word order is changed because they stay in their original location
& recordings are by the amazing and kind Orikrin (^_−)−☆
