About Gothic
Gothic is a language spoken in what is considered Spain, in an alternate universe. It is descended from Gothic (𐌲𐌿𐍄𐌹𐍃𐌺𐌰), but has over time abandoned its alphabet and has picked up sound changes and loanwords. Old Gothic also eventually became Suevian in what was the lands which encompassed the Galician Kingdom of the Suebi. Another language, Espagnoleg, split off from Late Old Gothic after the Visigothic invasion of Brittany.
Gothic has considerable influence from the languages it ruled, such as Proto-Slavic, Latin, Iberian Romance, Breton, and later Quechua among others.
NOTE: I will NEVER add a Gothic word for "to breed". If this happens, assume it is not me. REVOKED AS OF APRIL 4TH
NOTE: Cases removed as of January 23rd, 2024.
