About Language Of Flowers Voe Ilani is the latest form that a nebulous, long-standing idea of mine has taken. It endeavours to keep its core vocabulary as small as possible (much in the same vein as Toki Pona), however, the grammar is free to allow for more "complexity" (I don't like to use that word, but it is in contrast to the simplicity of Toki Pona). This is because Voe Ilani is not aiming for simplicity.

The goal of Voe Ilani is less clear cut, however, the need for a small vocabulary was of paramount important as I want the language's vocab to be quick to learn and not require hours and hours on a memrise course. The true star of the language is in its 3 (yes, that's right three) verbs and the austronesian alignment.
