About Lauhauan Lauhauan is the language of a nomadic branch of the Eono, a race of humanoids based on panthers. Their phonology may seem very marked and curious to some, and that is true. However, they have jaw and throat structures more akin to felines. Some cannot round their lips easily, which is the cause for the lack of distinguishing rounding in the language. Additionally, they have no uvulas. The advanced uvular trill is actually a velar trill, and the retracted uvular nasal is actually a pharyngeal nasal. Additionally, the vowels listed as pharyngealized are not merely pharyngealized, but are truly pharyngeal vowels. Think of them as extra-back.
