About Pearlian
Pearl is a planet in the Azure cluster. Its culture is loosely inspired by medieval Japan. The planet is a sphere made almost entirely of titanium; the arable and usable crust is just a thin layer over what is a massive ball of pure titanium.
Pearl's major export, unsurprisingly, is titanium. Its population is rigidly separated into castes. The upper caste, the Lords, own land, own the robots that work it, and artificially limit the output of raw materials in order to keep prices high.
Lower castes include engineers, argicultors, miners, and servants.
