About Panchon
If there was ever to be a single language that any citizen of the world could tell you of, it would have to be the language of Panċone. To anyone even vaguely familiar with the history and ongoings of the world of Tjer, it really requires no introduction. It is by far the most widely spoken language in the world, with over 140 million people speaking it as a native language, from cities as far apart as Zintufuntín, Tirñejal and Denċytac.
The language holds official status is a total of 27 countries on every continent. Though, it could be argued that this map is somewhat misleading when speaking of the true nativity of the language, as many of these nations admittedly use the language as a uniting political force over an otherwise linguistically diverse population. It is largely because of this that the number of 140million does not tell the whole story, since there it an estimated total of 430million people who learn Panċone as a second or additional language, for a total estimate of 570million speakers worldwide. As mentioned, this is mostly because of nations such as Ġan Bimún or various nations in K’orocha, where Panċone holds a unique role as the language of education and politics, instead of a language of daily communication. In addition to this, Panċone is incredibly influential within the world economy. Speaking Panċone is often considered a necessity to anyone wishing to work internationally, or to enter the tourism, commerce and trade sectors. It is also an incredibly important language for international diplomacy, being one of the operating languages of the Turshésh Economic Cooperation Agreement, and the K’orochain Economic Union, as well as of the International Cooperation Union.
