About Taspin
Leoli Tasapu is a language spoken by the Tasapu people in the many islands across the Asperian Ocean in the world of Nihatal (my conworld, where I set most of my conlangs). The people who speak the language are spread far across these islands, and historically have inhabited them for thousands of years and because of their trade connections with one another the language is intelligible through most of all the islands, although there is some dialectical variation.
The sounds in the language, to reflect this island history, are inspired by Gagana Samoa, Te Reo Māori, and also Greek, although there is more Pacific influence in terms of sound. While Polynesian languages tend to be more analytic, though, Leoli Tasapu is quite agglutinative and has a system of noun case built in.
