About Tesmaltese
Tesmaltese is a Uralic language spoken by the Tesmaltese people of Tesmaltin. It is the national language of the country and also serves as an official language of the European Union
Tesmiotese morphology has been deeply influenced by Hungarian, Arabic and the Romance languages, namely Italian and Sicilian.
The Hungarian base comprises around 70% of the Tesmaltese vocabulary, especially words that denote basic ideas and the function words, and about one-tenth of the vocabulary is derived from Arabic and standard Italian, Sicilian, Pandish and English make up between 6% and 20% of the vocabulary.
